Quality

The careful selection of raw materials and the fulfillment of the requirements of compliance and hygiene are our cornerstones. We work in order to protect people and animals involved in the process.

Food safety

The production process consists in the pigs’ stay in the pens, slaughtering, and meat cutting, up to packaging and shipping of the cuts. Traceability and identification of the meat are guaranteed throughout the entire supply chain, from receiving live pigs to the shipping of finished product to our customers.

Pini Italia is committed to distributing safe and genuine food products, involving all operators in the production process and implementing a control and verification system aimed at identifying non-conformities. The integrity of the product is guaranteed by procedures defined in the Hygiene Self-Control System and by the compliance with mandatory and voluntary standards of food quality and safety.

If specifically requested, we can provide conforming and certified goods according to two technical product specifications (dtp): CSQA n.109 (pigs raised without antibiotics from birth) and CSQA n.130 (pigs raised according to strickter animal welfare requirements).

policy

Our corporate policy involves pursuing hygienic and sanitary safety of products along with workplace health and safety, with the aim of meeting customer demands by providing a safe, controlled, and quality product. All employed operators are aware of the importance of ensuring safe meat handling and are adequately trained to achieve it.

Regarding workplace well-being, Pini Italia recognizes the importance of protecting and promoting workers’ health and has therefore adhered to the WHP (Workplace Health Promotion) program, promoted by the Lombardy Region and defined by the World Health Organization. Within the WHP program, inclusion and support of personnel are promoted, also through training and information pathways in the workplace, aiming to disseminate healthy lifestyles.
